Caitlin's 10th Birthday Party

It's been a busy week at the Club. Clean-up from The Classic is almost finished -- to see results from last week go to their website, FortSmithClassic.com.

Also, we have hosted the Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce for lunch on Tuesday and St. Edward Hospital for a meeting Wednesday which included breakfast, lunch and yummy snacks.

Thursday was a double-event day: the Sebastian County Republicans hosted a fundraiser and Caitlin P. hosted her 10th birthday party. Since Caitlin's party was so much fun, I decided to share a few pictures from her spectacular event.

Caitlin chose the fun combination of zebra and pink. After arriving at the Club in a limo, Caitlin and her friends headed to our East Porch to eat dinner, open presents, and all of the birthday festivities.

Caitlin and her friends enjoying the delicious buffet.

After dinner, cake and presents, the girls joined in on the Bingo games in the Main Dining Room.

Caitlin, we hope you had a great birthday! Happy 10th!

Jana & Mark Kostelnik's Reception

On May 29 Jana and Mark hosted nearly 150 guests at Hardscrabble. Photographer Meredith Melody Hubbell of Little Rock captured many wonderful images of their special night. Our beautiful course provided the perfect backdrop for a few pre-reception portraits.

Jana and Mark's guests enjoyed an amazing combination dinner from our Chef of filet char-grilled steak topped with braised baby spoon spinach marsala demi glace and chicken piccata on a bed of creamy risotto. Entertainment was provided by deuling piano players who guests danced to all night long.

The exquisite tables (and all of the other little details) were designed by mother-daughter team Pam Hornberger and Amy Hardin of Details Weddings & Events of Fort Smith. Unforgettables of Fort Smith and Eventures of Fayetteville provided the linens, chair covers and ties, table runners and flower arrangement holders for the elegant look.

Robert and his team from Expressions! Flowers of Fort Smith transformed the Club, inside and out, into a forrest wonderland with their gorgeous arrangements and special touches. Both pictures used for the header of this blog feature photos from Jana and Mark's night and showcase what a beautiful job that was done by all.

Jana and Mark provided their guests with an amazing night of food and fun -- AND our members were able to enjoy a (center)piece of their evening. This masterful arrangement created by Expressions! was savored by members the next morning as they enjoyed Sunday Brunch.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Kostelnik!
